Dyslexia: Educate Me - Short Film

Dyslexia Educate Me is a short film about having dyslexia in the Scottish education system.

This film took a year to put together as a collaboration between Dyslexia Scotland and Blue Star Streaming.

For me what resonated the most (and always does) was the personal account of Ian McKinnon, an author who describes his experience of education as horrendous.  As someone who is contemplating writing a book and is struggling with aspects of self belief in getting it started, this really touched me.

There is something for everyone in this film and it was great to see Sir Jacky Stewart talking about his experience also.  There is even an insight into what the Scottish education system is doing now to support young dyslexic learners.
